The Di2 dual control lever on the lightweight DURA-ACE R9100 series has also been optimized to offer more grip and balanced ergonomics with adjustable reach adjustment for improved shifting (and braking). The more defined click gives you the feeling of more control with every shift.

Synchronized Shift enables more efficient gear changes while driving. The function offers numerous advantages such as faster, more precise gear changes in all driving conditions and minimizes the load on the drive.

When Synchronized Shift is turned on, the rear and front derailleurs can be controlled with a single switch. With Synchronized Shift fully activated, the front derailleur will sense the position of the rear derailleur and automatically shift to the most efficient gear with the best chainline, so you never have to worry about front shifting or compensating shifts again.

With the Semi-Synchronized Shift function activated, you can shift the front derailleur manually, giving you optimal control in selecting the best gear combination for your riding style. The system automatically makes the necessary correction by automatically shifting to the correct rear gear with the best chainline.
